Rail delivery to Russian Railways started
In September 2020, the Aktyubinsk rail-and-beam plant started rolling R65 rail of the DT350 category for the needs of JSC Russian Railways in the amount of 50 thousand tons until the end of 2020.
Russian Railways is one of the three largest railway companies in the world, with a total length of 85.6 thousand kilometers.
Most of the supplied rails will be 100 meters long and will be used in the course of repair work on the Railways of the Russian Federation.
Rolling is carried out from the billet produced by JSC Oskol electrometallurgical combine, which is part of one of the largest mining and metallurgical holding of the Russian Federation-metalloinvest, which is a strategic partner of the Aktobe rail and beam plant.
